Honduras: An undiscovered golf destination

Honduras, a small Central American country sandwiched between El Salvador to the east, Guatemala in the north and Nicaragua to the south, has coasts on both the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea. A mountainous terrain gives it dramatic landscapes for golf. There are fewer than 10 golf courses in Honduras, but several are highly regarded. The gem of the bunch is the Black Pearl Golf Course at Pristine Bay on Roatan, the largest of the islands in the Bay of Honduras.
