One and Only Palmilla
One & Only Palmilla is located on the tip of the Baja Peninsula in the Sea of Cortez and sandy beaches and spectacular views. This resort has an Old Mexico flavor with its red-tiled roofs, whitewashed walls, exquisite fountains, swaying palms, bird of paradise and other tropical bloom. The intimate resort was founded in 1956 by Don Abelardo Rodriguez, son of General Abelardo Rodriguez the interim president of Mexico, and has been a favorite retreat for the likes of Hemingway and Harlow.

One & Only Palmilla is located at the southernmost point of Baja California along the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortez within the Los Cabos Corridor, a 21-mile stretch between San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas. The resort is a 20-minute drive along the Carretera Transpeninsular Number One Highway.
